On behalf of the Black Rock Football & Netball Club, I invite you to join us as a valued partner in 2026.
We are a proud, community-focused club that provides a safe and welcoming environment for players and families across football, netball, and basketball. Our mission is simple: to connect our community through sport while fostering values of being connected, committed, inclusive, and respectful.
2025 Highlights
- Football Growth: Appointment of Brad Jamison as Director of Football and new Senior Men’s coaching panel. Our Men’s Seniors made finals, the Reserves reached a Preliminary Final, and our Open Grade side made big strides. Our Women’s program, competing in a strong Div 1, were only a couple of close games away from finals.
- Junior Footy: Under 8s made a fantastic debut, while the Under 11s played their first season of full-ground football.
- Basketball Launch: Established Black Rock Jets Basketball with seven teams affiliated with the Southern Basketball Association.
- Netball & Finals: Strong seasons across all four senior netball sides, with our Senior team making it to the Grand Final.
- Events & Fundraising: Another successful Legends Day raising funds for the Snowdome Foundation, our best-ever Sponsors Day/Legends Luncheon, a fantastic Big Freeze MND fundraiser on King’s Birthday weekend, and our biggest-ever Major Raffle fundraiser.
Ambitious Plans for 2026
- Facilities: Completion of our long-awaited LED sports lighting upgrade in October 2025 – unlocking Friday night and twilight games.
- Pathways: Launch of an Under 19s football program with Gavin Boyd appointed as coach.
- Stability: High retention of players and coaches across all programs to develop from an amazing platform.
- Growth: Continuing to grow our juniors from the bottom up in addition to adding an Under 19s football pathway.
- Culture: Whole-club events including pre-season bonding, family days, and inclusive gatherings to reinforce a “One Club” mentality.
- Volunteerism: More volunteer rostering, recruitment, clearer position descriptions, and dedicated volunteer appreciation.
- Sustainability: Expanding sponsorship opportunities, prioritising local business and club sponsor engagement, and ensuring financial stability through diverse fundraising and strong community partnerships.
