2024 was a great year for BRFNC, marked by significant milestones:
- Record Participation: For the first time, we fielded four senior football and four netball teams, in addition to our Auskick and two junior football teams.
- New Scoreboard: A major six-figure project delivered with the support of Community Bank Sandringham.
- Unified Playing Kits: Our Men's, Women's, and Junior Football teams united under one playing strip.
- Legends Day Luncheon: Raised over $8,000 for the Snowdome Foundation for Blood Cancer Research.
- Sponsorship Growth: Reached new levels of sponsorship and engagement.
- Inaugural President's Luncheon: Featured AFL legend Matthew Lloyd as our guest speaker.
- Women's Football Rebuild: A successful season under new coach Michael Hogg.
- Finals: Reached two Senior Netball Grand Finals, Men's Reserves finals, won an Under 10s lightning premiership, and hosted SMJFL finals for the first time ever.
In 2025 we have ambitious plans:
- Senior Men's Football Growth: With Matt Huber as our new Senior coach and a promising young squad.
- Appointment of a Director of Football: Elevating our football programs to new heights.
- Junior Netball Program: Launching an Under 9s program to expand junior participation.
- Growth in Junior Football: Welcoming our new Under 8s team and continuing to grow Auskick.
- LED Lighting Upgrade: Working with Bayside Council to improve our facilities.
- Stronger Partnerships & Community Engagement: Strengthening ties with our sponsors, past players,
- local schools, businesses, and focusing recruitment from local areas.
