Brighton Toyota Seniors Report
We were up against a top side in Bentleigh, last year’s runners up.
The big crowd was treated to a fast game in warm weather. We were competitive early until the slick skills and bigger bodies of Bentleigh saw them gain the ascendancy and win well
This week we have the most traditional of rivals – Hampton.
Best players this week for the mighty Rockers were Sean Harris, Corey Durie, Joel Cook, “Teen Wolf” Spratt and the Jewell brothers, Sam and Nick. Our journey continues!
Bendigo Bank Beaumaris Reserves Report
Bentleigh showed why they are the best Reserves side in the competition and we will learn plenty. Our boys pleasingly continue to learn and put their head over the ball, fight hard and get close to a win.
Best players included Matt Nicklos, Ben Laux, Lucas Handley, Joel McDonald, Evan “Dr Smooth” Price and Dane Roberts
