President’s Report – Round 4

Brighton Toyota Seniors Report Saturday saw us up against Skye out at Carrum Downs, which was another test for us against a top side. The big crowd was treated to a terrific opening by our boys. The ground was soft under foot, and over the course of the game, the Skye boys, who were very well drilled, asserted their authority over the course of the game to run out easy winners. The Rockers did not shirk an issue and can be proud of their efforts! This week sees us back at our home against the Beena. Best players this week for the mighty Rockers were Nick Jewell, Bubba Winberg, Sean Harris, Corey Durie, Cooper Ferries and Col Wiltshire Bendigo Bank Beaumaris Reserves Report Our current spate of injuries took their toll on numbers. The twos faced a big challenge against Skye, but put their head over the ball and fought really hard.
