The Black Rock Football Club is pleased to report that the proposed $172,847 upgrade to the lighting at Donald Macdonald Reserve in Black Rock will go ahead.
The club would like to thank all members and residents of Bayside who helped support our campaign to get the funding after it was removed from the initial budget.
We also appreciate the efforts of the Bayside Mayor, Councillors and Sports and Recreation staff of for taking the time to hear our point of view and work towards an outcome that has benefited all.
Kudos to Cheltenham Cricket Club, Cheltenham Football Club, Beaumaris Football Club and Hampton Rovers Football Club for standing side by side with us on this important issue. Together we have achieved a fantastic result for the local community!
