Fallon + Matho Re-Sign

More great news from the club this week with power forward Ned Fallon and raging bull Stewart Mathieson recommitting to 2023 Season. 

The former Sandy Dragon, Ned Fallon, joined the club in 2021 and has nothing but blitzed the competition. In 2021, Ned snagged 26 goals in just 11 Games and in 2022, he upped the ante and scored 44 goals in 18 games, scoring in every game expect one! 

Fallon was the star in our Round 8 Clash with Carrum Patterson Lakes scoring 6 goals in a 125-63 point demolition at home!

Stewart Mathieson joined the Jets this year and to put it lightly, scared the living daylights out of the opposition. The Black Rock and opposition crowds were often flabbergasted by the skills and agility of Matho and often quested life when asking... "How can such a big man be so agile?!" 

Stewie scored 16 goals in 18 matches from the midfield across the Seniors and Reserves and for his efforts was awarded the Reserves Runner-Up Best and Fairest in 2022. A true testament to the strength of the Jets!

The addition of Ned and Stewie to our 2023 line-up shows that Black Rock will be a force to be reckoned with in our return to Division 2!
