Community spirit: Cooper Ferries helps plant indigenous species in the bushland of Macdonald Reserve.[/caption]
The Black Rock Football Club is proudly working to assist the 'Friends of Donald Macdonald Reserve' group.
The 'Friends' are made up of local volunteers who operate in the remnant bushland of our home ground Donald MacDonald Reserve. They work at eradicating weeds and planting indigenous species and follow an action plan worked out in consultation with CityWide bushland crew, who assist and supervise their work.
The working bees run from 10am-12pm on the first Sunday of every month. The BRFC Committee will be endeavouring to join in at all of them throughout the year and we encourage our members to do the same!
