Buddy Back at Black Rock

Michael 'Buddy' Spohn has announced that he will return home to Black Rock FNC after playing Division 1 Senior Football at Mordialloc FNC in 2018. After overcoming a finger injury mid-season, Buddy ended up playing as a ruckman and making in Mordialloc's senior side that was ultimately knocked out in a preliminary final.

The 2015 BFRNC premiership player and USA national team representative can't wait to get stuck into pre-season and re-discover where it all began for him. Coach Lachlan Batt expects to use him in a variety of roles in 2019.
