Applications Open: Senior Men's Football Coach 2027

Black Rock Football Netball Club, affiliated with the Southern Football Netball League, is seeking applications for a Senior Men’s Football Coach for the 2027 season and beyond.

We are looking for a committed leader who can develop our playing group, build a strong team culture and drive on-field performance. Playing coach applications will also be considered.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the Senior Men’s team’s on-field performance and player development.

- Provide leadership across the men’s football program and work collaboratively with other coaches and club officials.

- Plan and deliver training, including the 2027 pre-season program.

- Assist with player recruitment and retention.

- Promote a respectful, inclusive team culture that reflects the club’s values.

- Support club activities and strengthen connections across our football and netball programs.

Desired experience and qualifications

- Demonstrated coaching experience and strong leadership and communication skills.

- Level 2 coaching accreditation preferred, with all suitable applicants considered.

- A clear approach to player development, game-day preparation and team culture.

- Availability to begin planning for the 2027 pre-season as soon as possible.

- A current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain them.
