Application Open: Netball Fourths Coach 2024

Black Rock FNC is seeking a Coach for their Fourth Senior Netball side for the 2024 season. The successful applicant will work closely alongside our Netball Co-ordinator and Netball Coaching Panel.

Our Netball program has seen exceptional growth heading into the 2024 season, and we are very excited to introduce a fourth side into the competition, a club first! Our club prides itself on creating a sporting environment that is fun, social, competitive with a strong ‘one club’ culture. We will be looking for an applicant to uphold those values.

Responsibilities:

• Help to oversee the organisation of training throughout the week, including drills and match strategy. Trainings are held on Thursday evenings, 6:30pm to 8pm.
• Lead the Fourths team on game days with the help of the team manager and the player leadership. Games are held on Saturdays varying from 12pm to 4pm.
• Communicate with the Netball Co-Ordinator and Netball Coaches regarding player and team performance.
• Educate the playing group and help them develop on and off the field in their netball journeys.

Desirable Skills:

• Commitment to the Fourths team and the Club.
• Enthusiasm to be an active participant in the Club.
• Understanding the balance of playing netball while enjoying the game.

Desirable Criteria:

• Foundational Coaching Accreditation
• First Aid Certificate.
• Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check.
• Driver’s License
